It had only been a couple of weeks since I had swapped bodies with my mate Sycamore, and it's been an uphill battle for me. You see, it turned out that not every creature in the forest knew of the body-swap ritual. In fact, only the Foxxen and a couple of critters outside the village know of the switch that took place between me and Sycamore. Nature sure is beautiful, isn't it? Most people take nature for granted; they call it a beautiful backdrop and don't even bother to fully explore it. The beauty of nature is not just how it looks, but how it feels when you truly experience it. When you wander through the mounds of grass and dirt, or when you inhale and then exhale its fresh-air. That's how you appreciate nature, when it comes to that I accept no substitutes. However, one day I became even more appreciative of nature. "Up and at em boys and girls!" shouts Vashriel, bursting through the metal door and scaring me half out of my skin. Twilight is slower to wake though, just like I used to be. "The sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it's a wonderful day to be alive!"
Vashriel is carrying an enormous leather saddle over his shoulder that looks like it weight a hundred pounds, and outside I see his dragon Chaff already harnessed up. He throws the bulky thing onto the ground in front of me.
